Deep wintertime, soaked and snow-blind,
Step after step through mountains we climb,
No path to follow, no reason, no rhyme,
Lost in these mountains that border on time.
We search for Qway-Lin, we search for Qway-Lin.
Stories foretold, walls of silver and gold,
Of nightmares and dreams, of lives bought and sold.
Iced heart and iced skin, we search for Qway-Lin,
The City Of Clouds, the City Of Clouds.
We search for Qway-Lin, we search for Qway-Lin.
It’s just a myth I hear you say.

“Do you not think they are the most beautiful things you have ever seen?” he asked of her one night.
“More beautiful even than I?” Saleena answered.
He gave the matter some thought.

A beautiful and haunting EP. I hope Marjana continues to produce material like this, in addition to her work in iamthemorning and the newly-formed Maer collaboration with Anna Murphy. Eleventh Earl of Blah

Wonderful, beautiful, densely layered music. I'm glad I gave this album several headphone listens before commenting. It did not immediately strike a chord with me, but the more I listened the more I began to understand and appreciate how fantastically rich and deep the sound is. For fans of atmospheric and melodic prog, this is an excellent addition. Bass and drum work are exquisite! paliojen_black

Dark, angry, heartfelt...some of these lyrics are hard to read, but there is something valedictory about the journey they take you on, if you are prepared to go.
Rachel's songs are not for the faint-hearted but that voice...how can you NOT listen?
Dark beauty, like being strangled by a velvet glove.
And all the while Jon's playing and arrangements are the perfect accompaniment. His melodies carry Rachel's lyrics with subtlety and suppleness. Mike Ashton
Big, clanging psych-rock from this Arizona outfit fuses monk-like vocals with slow-winding guitars for songs that feel like strange hymns. Bandcamp New & Notable May 2, 2016

I received the vinyl version of "For king and country" today through justforkicks Germany. Such a wonderful album in this rerecorded version. I did own the Si-music version on CD many year ago, but sold it for reasons back in the days. This new version is a complete different thing. A real gem. It brings back memories and is something completely new and different at the same time. Happy have the digital version as well for my outdoor music time. Thanks a lot. Mr. Richman jr.
